How it works
Every coin on Moonring is paired with JitoSOL, Solana staked through Jito. You pay in SOL: the site stakes it into JitoSOL and buys the coin in one transaction. Selling does the reverse (JitoSOL is swapped back to SOL via Jupiter).
Coins launch on Raydium LaunchLab with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 and no mint or freeze authority. The price follows a bonding curve. At graduation, liquidity moves into a Raydium CPMM pool and is locked forever with Raydium Burn & Earn.
Because the quote side is JitoSOL, every pool's reserves keep earning Solana staking yield (historically around 7–8% a year). The yield meter on each coin shows how much SOL value the pool's reserves have gained from staking alone. This is a modest, steady effect, not a price guarantee.
Current mode: SOL pairs
Raydium has not yet issued a LaunchLab config with JitoSOL as the quote token, so for now coins pair with SOL. In this mode pool reserves do not earn staking yield and the yield meter is off. Rewards are still paid in JitoSOL: the worker stakes each claimed SOL fee into Jito's stake pool before splitting it. When a JitoSOL config is available, new coins will launch JitoSOL-paired; existing SOL-paired coins stay as they are.
Fees
Raydium takes its protocol fee. The platform fee is claimed by our worker and split the same way for every coin:
- 30% to holders, in JitoSOL, pro rata
- 10% to the creator's chosen wallet, in JitoSOL
- 30% buys back and burns $RING
- 20% to top traders by volume each 7-day epoch, in JitoSOL
- 10% to the treasury
Fees are attributed to each coin by the platform fee its own trades paid since the last claim. Holder rewards smaller than 0.0001 JitoSOL roll over to the next payout. Liquidity-pool accounts and Moonring's own wallets are excluded from holder snapshots. After graduation the quote-side share of LP and creator fees from the coin's Raydium pool is split the same way.
The split is executed by our off-chain worker from the platform wallet (Moonring has no custom on-chain program). Every claim and every payout is published with its transaction signature on /payouts.
Tickers
1–10 letters or numbers. First launch of a ticker is free; launching a duplicate costs 1 SOL to the treasury.
Risks
- Coins are highly speculative; you can lose everything.
- JitoSOL depends on Jito's stake pool and validator performance; slashing or a depeg on secondary markets would affect prices.
- Payouts depend on our worker running and on the platform wallet; they are not enforced by a smart contract.
- No outside audit of the platform code.
- Swaps (SOL⇄JitoSOL, buybacks) can suffer slippage and MEV.
- Prices and stats can be delayed or wrong.
